Burnie Library Open Day

Do you remember the last time you visited a library? Whether it was yesterday or years ago, you will be amazed by what Burnie Library has to offer.

On Friday 24 November, we are opening our doors for an afternoon and evening of exciting activities, information on services, and opportunities for you to discover.

As a library member, you can access a wealth of resources from home or anywhere, such as e-books, e-audiobooks, e-magazines, and study support.

Meet community groups through the library, such as Knitting for Charity or Burnie Seed Library, and share your skills and interests with others.

If you are looking for some entertainment, we have plenty of options for you and your family. Join our activities, such as craft, sleepy storytime, speedcubing, and adult Lego Star Wars.

Explore the library with a scavenger hunt and a quiz, and find books, magazines, and games to suit your taste.

Don’t miss this chance to experience the best of Burnie Library. The Farewell Spring Open Day will run from 2:00pm to 6:30pm on Friday 24 November. We look forward to seeing you there!

Stay tuned to our Facebook page for more information in the week leading up or visit the Burnie Library page on Eventbrite for a breakdown of times for various events.
