Annual registration is required for all cooling towers and warm water systems to ensure they are operated and maintained in such a manner that they do not cause legionella.
The purpose of the registration is to assist in to minimise opportunities for legionella spread by monitoring compliance with Public Health Act 1997 Guidelines for the Control of Legionella in Regulated Systems.
