Camdale Development Proposal The proposed $35 million Strait Hotel at Camdale Beach will feature 72 beachfront rooms, luxury apartments, dining venues, and conference facilities. Led by Tasmanian developer Errol Stewart of JMC Property Group, the project aims to elevate the visitor experience along the Bass Strait while honouring the coastal landscape. In July 2025, the developer sought community feedback on the proposal.
