CBD Recycling - By private arrangement

Recycling services, including office paper collection, are currently provided by private waste operators.

Due to limited bin storage and collection space within the CBD, the regional fortnightly 3-bin service (FOGO and recycling) is not currently available.

Council will continue investigating future recycling and organics options as part of the CBD Urban Planning Project.

Commercial Waste Operators

For additional services such as landfill waste, recycling, pconfidential document destruction, or cardboard collections, commercial waste operators offer flexible skip collection options in 240L or 660L sizes throughout the region

Help Shape Future CBD Waste Services

Managing waste storage and collections in the CBD can be challenging. Council is seeking feedback from businesses to better understand:

  • waste storage issues
  • recycling needs
  • organics collection opportunities
  • future service improvements

Feedback will help inform the CBD Urban Planning Project.
