Council

The Burnie City Council serves a municipality of 19,000 people. It is governed  by nine councillors, who each serve a four-year term and has a staff of around 150 people.

Council Meetings

Search for Council Meeting Dates, Agendas, and Minutes. Council Meetings are usually held every fourth Tuesday of the month, at 7pm in the Council Chambers, 80 Wilson Street including Public Question Time.
