Waste Recovery and Recycling

Council provides a range of waste services, including the Inzone fortnightly 3-bin regional kerbside collection, CBD waste and cardboard pickups, and public place recycling and litter collection. Material sorting for recovery occurs at the Waste Management Centre, with remaining waste transferred to landfill.

Kerbside Collection - Inzone

If you live within the serviced Inzone, your annual rates include a kerbside collection charge for the regional 3-bin fortnightly waste, recycling and FOGO collection service.

Burnie Waste Management Centre

Recycling, Tip Shop, E-Waste, Green Waste, Building Material Stockpile. Bring your vouchers, extra waste to the Waste Transfer and Resource Recovery Centre for disposal. Open 7 days a week.

Burnie Resale Tip Shop

Operated by City Mission, the Burnie Resale Shop is open 7 days a week for donations and shopping. Donations of goods that may be useful to others are very welcome.
