Dulverton works closely with the Cradle Coast Waste Management Group (CCWMG) and other regional partners to deliver practical, easy-to-understand waste education. Residents, local businesses, and community groups can access guidance and resources to avoid, reduce, reuse, and recycle waste, the core principles of sustainable waste management in Tasmania.

Waste Engagement Officers

Our Waste Education Officers, supported by Dulverton’s role in CCWMG and Rethink Waste, visit community groups to provide tailored advice, workshops, and presentations on practical waste reduction, recycling, and organics management.

Schools Programs

(Free to Tasmanian Schools)

Through the Rethink Waste Schools Program, Dulverton supports schools across the region with free resources and hands-on activities. Program features include:

Conducting waste audits and creating actionable plans to reduce school waste
Hands-on learning experiences linked to the Australian Curriculum
Tools and guidance for students, teachers, and school communities to take real, measurable steps in waste reduction

This program is delivered in partnership with other regional waste bodies and is available to all Tasmanian schools.

Community Events & Engagement

Through Rethink Waste Tasmania & NWRRR Dulverton raises awareness of waste issues at local events, workshops, and community activities. These initiatives empower people to make small, everyday changes that:

NWRRR also provides access to free resources and guides that help communities plan and track waste reduction activities, including:
