Rethink Waste Tasmania is a statewide initiative by the Cradle Coast Waste Management Group, the Northern Tasmanian Waste Management Group, and Waste Strategy South. Its goal is to encourage the Tasmanian community to reconsider how we handle waste, improving our environment and reducing the burden on landfills.

Our Engagement Officers deliver free, tailored 40‑minute incursions across Tasmania, designed to spark curiosity and build real‑world understanding about waste.

Whether you’re a teacher, youth leader, or part of a community group, this program will teach your community practical ways to avoid, reduce, reuse and recycle.
