About The Role

Reporting to the General Manager, you will deliver a range of administrative and business support services to multiple stakeholders within the Office of the General Manager as we work to deliver our strategic plan ‘Making a Better Burnie 2044’.

You will work closely with the General Manager, the Mayor, and the Executive Management Team and will be responsible for setting each stakeholder up for success with their respective priorities because of your gold-standard of executive support.

About You

The Executive Assistant is an integral position within the Office of the General Manager, and we are seeking a seasoned Executive Assistant who is highly organised, autonomous yet collaborative, demonstrates initiative and has strong influencing skills with the ability to effectively manage stakeholder expectations.

You will be able to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, be able to prioritise and multi-task in a high volume and deadline-driven environment while delivering work on time, to a high standard and with attention to detail.

Local government experience will be highly regarded.
