Burnie Bicentenary Committee - Expressions of Interest

In 2027, Burnie will proudly commemorate the 200th anniversary of our vibrant city by the sea.

To help shape this significant milestone, Burnie City Council is inviting expressions of interest from community members who would like to be part of the Burnie Bicentenary Committee.

Together, the Committee will design a diverse and inclusive program of events to honour Burnie’s rich history, celebrate our present, and inspire future generations. Activities will be developed and promoted to spark community pride, participation, and joy.

If you’re passionate about Burnie and have ideas to help mark this special anniversary, we encourage you to apply.
