Ticket to Play Grants

Ticket to Play is a Tasmanian Government program designed to reduce the cost of sport and active recreation membership for eligible children.

Your child can receive 2 vouchers worth up to $100 towards the cost of their membership of approved clubs.

When you apply your child must be living in Tasmania, aged between 5 and 18 years old. They must also be listed on a valid Centrelink health care or pensioner concession card or be in out of home care

• Ticket to Play runs on a financial year cycle
• Applications are open from 3 July 2025 until 29 May 2026 or when all vouchers have been issued
• Vouchers must be given to an Approved Activity Provider by Friday 5 June 2026
