The Final Version of the Burnie City Centre Urban Plan has been adopted by Council at the February Council meeting.

The City Centre Urban Plan will transform the Burnie City Centre to create a vibrant and engaging place to work, live, shop and socialise.

Since 2009, the Coastal Pathway development in Burnie has included sections from Emu River to Red Rock and Cooee to Cam River, featuring shared bike paths and walking tracks.

Active Transport Strategy

Burnie City Councils Active Transport Strategy will provide a blueprint in guiding investment to make walking and cycling a more convenient choice for short to medium trips in and around Burnie.
