Romaine Reserve Pedestrian Bridge Replacement

BCC WEB tiles (2).png
Bridge replacement works are set to begin at Romaine Reserve from Monday 1 June.

Council’s Building team will be replacing the pedestrian bridge at the southern end of the loop track, with works including removal of the existing bridge, construction of new support and installation of a new 2.5m wide low-maintenance pedestrian bridge designed for durability and long-term use.
The current timber bridge has deteriorated over time, with noticeable movement when crossing, and this upgrade will help improve safety and accessibility for reserve users.
Works are expected to take around 5–6 weeks to complete, weather permitting.
Thank you for your patience while these important improvements are carried out.
