The FOGO YOYO Challenge !!

Burnie City Council and the Burnie Youth Council have worked together to create a campaign that brings awareness to the new 3-bin fortnightly collection service.
The main event of the waste change is the new green lid Food Organics Garden Organics (FOGO) bin.
To get our community talking and sharing their knowledge about FOGO, a fun and engaging FOGO challenge has been set!
How it works
For the school kids:
👉 Ask your Mum, Dad or guardian to film you performing your best YOYO tricks in 30 seconds
👉 Thrift Shop instrumental song is your soundtrack
👉 Have your Mum, Dad or guardian upload the vid on their socials using the hashtag - #FOGOyoyo
👉 The top 3 vids will battle it out - to take home the reward of the ultimate YOYO !! . . and so much more!
For the Parents (or Big Kids):
Throwback to your yo-yo days! ✨
Did you have a glow-in-the-dark, light-up, or classic Coca-Cola yo-yo? What was your favourite trick: Walk the Dog, Rock the Baby, Around the World? Now’s the perfect time to pass it on! Show your kids a trick and join the FOGO yoyo challenge. Film it and share on your socials with #FOGOyoyo you might even see your video featured on our page!
You have until Wednesday 24 September to upload your vid!
FOGO Yoyos will be delivered to the local Burnie schools.
Don't have a yoyo? Just pop into the Council city officers to grab one for free!
