Annual Rose Pruning at Burnie Park

Winter is the best time to prune the roses in Burnie park, allowing them to blossom well into spring. Pruning all of the dead branches, leaves and flowers will allow the plants to focus all its energy into producing gorgeous blooms in spring and summer for all of our community to enjoy!

Come on down and grab some cuttings! They will be available to the public in the Burnie Park from Monday 7 July. All remaining cuttings will be removed on Monday 14 July, 2025.

Please be mindful of the thorns!
