Pop Culture - Library Takeover for Youth Week 2024

Bring along your friends each day this youth week and join the Pop Culture – Library Takeover from Monday 8th to Saturday 13th April at the Burnie Library.

Includes Lego, gaming, photo opportunities with life size props and cosplay characters, workshops, competitions, Godzilla and a Haunted Alley.

Building Burnie Box City
What would you like in your Burnie Box City??  Come and help create a black and white Burnie Box City. Needs to be big enough to hold up to a human size Godzilla.

Building Burnie Pop Culture Lego City
Come and test your brick building skills in crafting your part of Burnie Pop Culture Lego City for Youth Week. There will be prizes!

Pathfinder & Dungeons and Dragons
We have a skilled Dungeon Master (DM) waiting to lure you in to the amazing worlds of Pathfinder and Dungeons & Dragons (Role playing game) for Youth Week.

Ever wanted to go in a shark cage or ninja chop some flying fruit?

Minecraft
Come and build your own blocky world using Minecraft:

Haunted Alley
Take a spooky wander through our Haunted Alley full of your favourite horror characters and perhaps a jump scare or two.

Saturday 10:00-12:30pm

Manga Art Workshop
Come and have some fun learning how to draw some of your favourite Manga characters.
