Future Drought Fund Drought Resilience Hubs Program. Closes 10 August 2026
This is a competitive grant opportunity to select providers for the next phase of the Future Drought Fund Drought Resilience Hubs program in 2027. The refreshed program, informed by an independent review, will establish seven Drought Resilience Hubs nationally, supported by up to $86.7 million up to June 2032. The Hubs provide regionally focused information and support to help farmers and communities develop, extend and adopt drought‑resilient technologies and practices, with hubs located across Australia. Screen – Next Brilliant Career closes 18 Aug 2026. Supports emerging Tasmanian screen practitioners to develop skills, gain industry experience and build sustainable careers through targeted professional development and mentoring opportunities.
2026 Governance for Social Impact closes 21 August 2026. The executive education program will be delivered in a way that develops participants in an engaging and participatory way that will challenge participants' thinking and help them better understand and lean into the complexity of the social purpose landscape.
Burnie City Council Community Grants Program 2026–27 Closes 23 August 2026. Funding to support local projects, events, organisations and individuals delivering community, cultural, tourism, sporting and wellbeing outcomes for Burnie. Electric Vehicle Destination Charging Grant Program close on 31 August 2026. Supports small to medium tourism businesses to install destination chargers for visitors staying overnight. The program will be delivered in two rounds, with total grant funding of $125,000 available for Round 1 Grants of up to $2,500 per charger are available, for a maximum of four chargers per business
Variety Heart Scholarship 2026 31 August 2026. provides funding of up to $4,000 to $5,000 to help young Australians aged 6 to 18 develop their talents in sport, the arts, and education. It supports children experiencing financial hardship, chronic illness, or disability.
Australian Sports Commission – Local Sporting Champions. Closes 31 August 2026
- $500 base grant, with additional travel assistance potentially taking it to $750
- For competitors, coaches and officials aged 13–18
- Covers people attending state, national or international championships, depending on age
- Eligible competitions for this round must occur between 1 April and 30 November 2026.
Building Digital Skills Round 20 grants 10 August to 4 September 2026. $3,000 – $20,500 funding to you can run a program to support the over-50s to be connected and get digital skills. A range of resources and support materials are available to help organisations deliver this program. This Be Connected program aims to support older people in Australia so they have the skills needed to participate fully in society. (Round 20: 10 August to 4 September 2026)
