A new Woolworths is coming to South Burnie!

A $20 million Woolworths development is proposed for South Burnie, featuring a 4,000m² store, additional retail and café spaces, and 177 car parks. Planned for 2026–27, the site includes improved access via Reeves Street, Marine Terrace, and Hopkinson Street, with a proposed roundabout to manage peak traffic.
