PlanBuild Tasmania is now live.

Burnie Council will transition to the statewide PlanBuild Tasmania portal in two phases. 

 

Initially, the Enquiry service will allow users to access property-specific planning zones, codes, and related information, as well as generating detailed Property Reports. 

 

The second phase, expected in late 2026, will introduce the Application Service, enabling users to submit, track, and respond to planning applications through a centralised platform.

 

This transition aims to streamline the development approval process for property owners, developers, and industry professionals.
