Burnie Lawn Cemetery - Footpath replacement

Kindly be advised that Council’s Civil team will commence footpath replacement works at the Lawn Cemetery from Monday 18 May.

These works are being undertaken to improve accessibility and ensure the cemetery remains a safe and accessible space for visitors and families.

Letters have been sent to the next of kin for family plots where contact information is available. However, Council does not hold current details for all families and appreciates the community’s understanding as works progress.

In addition, traffic management will be in place from Monday 18 May while Hardings Group undertakes nearby water main improvement works.

Minor traffic delays may be experienced during this time; however, access to the cemetery will remain available.
