1 July 2026

Council is seeking community feedback on two potential locations along View Road (between West Park Grove and Grandview Avenue) for a new raised pedestrian crossing.

The proposed crossing is intended to improve pedestrian safety and accessibility, while supporting safer movement throughout the area for all road users.

Before selecting a preferred location, Council is inviting residents, businesses, pedestrians, cyclists, and other road users to review the two proposed locations and provide feedback.

Why are we seeking feedback?

Community members often have valuable local knowledge that can help identify issues and opportunities that may not be apparent through technical assessments alone.

Feedback will help Council better understand:

  • Potential safety concerns
  • Impacts on vehicle access and traffic flow
  • Accessibility considerations

Consultation closes Wednesday 22 July, 2026.
