Keep an eye out for Red Inkweed

Red Inkweed (Phytolacca octandra) is an emerging priority weed that has only been reported at a small number of sites across Tasmania.

Council is asking the community to help by learning how to identify this plant and reporting any suspected sightings. Early detection is important to help prevent further spread.

Funding may be available to assist with weed control on private property.
