What will Marinus Link mean for Tasmania? Join us in Burnie to explore the opportunities, risks and community impacts of this major energy project.
After more than a decade of debate and planning, construction of the Marinus Link is now set to begin, furthering the integration of Tasmania’s renewable energy system into the national electricity grid.
Hear a range of perspectives on the Marinus Link project. We will consider the opportunities it creates, the risks it presents, and what communities can do to maximise the broader social and economic benefits of Marinus Link and associated developments.
Presented in partnership with the Tasmanian Policy Exchange (TPE), this event draws on independent research and policy insight to examine one of Tasmania’s most significant infrastructure projects and the role it will play in Australia’s clean energy future.
