  • Beaches & Swimming:  Swim at the Burnie Aquatic Centre or explore Burnie’s coastline with beachcombing at Cooee, West Beach, South Burnie, Wivenhoe and Heybridge.
  • Entertainment: Check session times for a movie, book a performance at burnie arts, or join a school holiday activity at Burnie Library. Try laser tag, an escape room or attend a local sports clinic.
  • Parks & TrailsRelax at Burnie Park with its gardens, playground and Oldaker Falls, or explore Romaine Reserve and get active at View Road Reserve with basketball, disc golf, BMX and mountain biking tracks.
  • Coastal AdventuresHead to the Burnie Waterfront for free family fun, play snakes and ladders, shoot hoops, volleyball or walk and cycle the coastal pathway. Stop at the new rest areas near Cooee or visit the skate park.
  • Art & Culture:  Discover Burnie’s creative side with exhibitions at Burnie Arts Centre, art deco and federation heritage architecture, and colourful street murals across the city.
