Reclink Social Sports Connection - Pickleball

A sports initiative to provide equal opportunity to children and families within the Burnie statistical area. Working in partnership with the primary schools, youth focused partner organisations, community groups and sporting clubs, Reclink will deliver free sport and recreation to children and their families. 

The sport of Pickleball has become popular due to its ability to provide an all ages and abilities indoor version of tennis. A combination of tennis, racquetball, badminton this sport is played on a smaller court with rules that encourage lengthy points and level the playing field in skill and ability. It can be run indoors, with minimal equipment and at a low cost making it a great option for families.

We would also like to acknowledge and thank the Department of Social Services and Catholic Care Tasmania Communities for Children as funding partners for this program.
