International Day of People with Disability
2025 ART COMPETITION
Speak Out, with the support of Burnie City Council are holding an art competition to celebrate International Day of People with Disability.
The competition is open to all primary, high school and college students in the Burnie area.
The theme for the artwork is
What does inclusion look like to you?
This is a chance for students to think about and discuss inclusion and the diversity within our community.
The winners will be announced at Speak Out’s International Day of People with Disability Event on Wednesday 3rd December from 4pm to 7pm at Marine Plaza, Burnie.
Speak Out, with the support of the Burnie City Council is holding a night market to celebrate International Day of People with Disability!
This is an event for the whole community
There will be:
A maker's market featuring local creators and makers with disability
A kids corner with fun activities
Live music
Free Sausage Sizzle
Activities for all ages/ abilities
An opportunity for our community to come together and celebrate the talents and contributions of people with disabilities.
