BIG Science Fair 2025

The BIG Science Fair returns to Burnie Arts on 19 and 20 August 2025, welcoming students in Years 5 to 12 from the North West and West Coast.
 
Open to schools, individuals, and organisations, the fair encourages hands-on science and engineering projects, linking students with future career and education opportunities.

Community involvement is welcomed through sponsorship. Run by Burnie Works and the BIG Committee, expressions of interest are now open at Science Fair Sponsorship 2025 - Burnie Works

Event Days:

  • Tuesday 19 August - Secondary School Day - 9 am to 2 pm
  • Wednesday 20 August - Primary School Day - 9am to 2pm

 

Awards Ceremony:

Tuesday 26 August - Burnie Arts, 5:30 pm for a 6 pm start

 

�� Open to Open to Science, Engineering and Technology Enhances the Arts entries.
�� Projects can be undertaken individually or as a group (max 4 students)
