For more information and the opportunity to sign up to our “Pre Season” Course to earn your Surf Rescue Certificate or Bronze Medallion in 2024!

*To obtain an SRC, participants must be 13 years or older at the time of assessment (with no upper age limit) and complete a 200m swim in the pool within 5 minutes. This award serves as an excellent starting point for those above 13 years of age, marking the beginning of your journey in the Surf Club and paving the way for the Bronze Medallion. This is also a great first step for our parents and friends at the club to take their helping hands onto the sand and into the sea with our Periwinkle’s & Nippers this upcoming season.

*If you're ready to take it to the next level, the Bronze Medallion awaits you. Prerequisites include being 15 years or older at the time of assessment and completing a 400m pool swim in 9 minutes.

*Both awards mandate that the candidate be a financial member of the Club.
