Join us for an evening of conversation, intellectual stimulation and celebration as we launch this highly anticipated book. "Education and the UN Sustainable Development Goals: Praxis Within and Beyond the Classroom," edited by Kim Beasy, Caroline Smith, and Jane Watson.

This groundbreaking book is the first of its kind, comprehensively addressing education for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and emphasising its critical importance across all areas of sustainable development.

We are thrilled to invite you to this special event on Earth Day featuring key North-west Tasmanian contributors Peter Brett, Nick Towle, Merete Schmidt, Jen Evans and Robin Krabbe. In a panel format, they will share insights from their chapters, highlighting why their work is crucial not only for their local community but also for the global pursuit of sustainable development goals.

Join us as we use this event as a springboard into the questions and thoughts you have on the transformative power of education in shaping a more sustainable future for all.

Drinks and nibbles will be provided on arrival in Room 238, (upstairs in the Field Building).

In person and online participantshave the chance to win one of two copies of this leading-edge publication.
