The Visitor Hub in Marine Plaza, located between the Multi-storey carpark and Shiploads operates while cruise ships are in port.

We welcome our cruise visitors at the Burnie Discovery Hub, our Visitor Central on cruise ship days which provides the following visitor services:

Commercial operators selling their tourism experiences;
Makers selling their artisan products;
Mobile food vendors;
Meet the Mayor
The Burnie Highland Pipe Band and Burnie Concert Bands;
Federation Street exhibition at the Museum; and
Performances and events at the Burnie Arts and Function Centre.

This summer, around 21 cruise ships will visit Burnie. We want to ensure that these guests experience the best that North West Tasmania has to offer and enjoy a fantastic visit.
