Round 1 for Burnie City Council Strategic Plan and Vision for the next twenty years is now closed.
Thank you to everyone who submitted responses. We received a record amount of community feedback, with some really fantastic suggestions across all age groups. Some of the responses we received were from the Burnie Youth Council – and are very impressive. Burnie has some thoughtful, innovative and resourceful young residents.
So what happens now?
Council will now comprise all of the community’s thoughts, suggestions and ideas and create a DRAFT of the 20 year Strategic Plan and Vision.
The DRAFT of the Strategic Plan will be presented at the June Council meeting for final approval.
Then on Monday 3rd of July we will open the second, and final round of community consultation.

The second round of community consultation will be open for 4 weeks (closing 31 July)
