Romaine Reserve - Bridge and boardwalk replacement
- Completion Date20 December 2025
The new Romaine bridge will be made of steel, and coated in Pine Green. We have widened it to 3m after listening to community input regarding our
Active Transport Strategy (round 1).
Construction started onsite Thursday 17 July, to begin building up the northern end of the track. This will allow crane access for the bridge installation. Once the track is ready, our building crew will take over. They will be removing the old piers and installing the new ones. A new 3m wide boardwalk will then connect the pathway to the new structure.
We kindly ask all reserve users to adhere to all signage during these works.
