Council Meetings are live-streamed, accessible from webcast.burnie.tas.gov.au
The Open Session of the Council meeting will be video recorded and made available to the public in accordance with Regulation 43 of the Local Government (Meeting Procedures) Regulations 2025.
Public Questions may be submitted to the Council for inclusion at the meeting in accordance with Council's Conducting Council Meetings Policy.

Council meetings are normally held at 7pm, every fourth Tuesday of the month, at the City Offices, 80 Wilson Street, Burnie (except offsite meeting locations where noted below).

The open portion of the Council meeting is broadcast live online at webcast.burnie.tas.gov.au

A petition may be presented to Council through a Councillor or the General Manager.
To be accepted for discussion at a Council meeting, a petition must meet the requirements of Section 57 of the Local Government Act 1993.
