About the Role:
This is a practical, hands-on job. You will be out on-site doing work like:
- Fixing and building roads, footpaths, bridges, and stormwater systems
- Trenching, concreting, asphalting, pipe laying, and building pits
- Setting up sites, controlling traffic, and general labouring
- Using hand tools and small equipment safely
If you have the right licences, you will also operate plant like loaders, excavators, rollers, and skid steers safely and efficiently.
What You Will Do:
- Get the job done safely and to the right standard
- Operate plant and keep logbooks (if qualified)
- Work as part of a team and support your mates
- Solve problems on the job and help others learn
- Jump in with other teams when needed
What We Are Looking For:
- Experience in civil construction, plant operation, or similar outdoor work
- Physically fit and able to work in all weather
- Can read plans, fill out basic paperwork, and follow instructions
- Understands safety rules and WHS requirements
- Current driver licence, Medium Rigid licence, and White Card
- Plant tickets for at least two pieces of civil construction equipment (desirable)
- HR licence, Traffic Controller ticket, and First Aid (a bonus)
