We are seeking motivated and professional Nurse Immunisers to join our School-Based Immunisation Program on a casual basis.
About the Role
As part of our immunisation team, you will assist with delivering scheduled vaccinations to school-aged students. This role is ideal for nurses who enjoy fast-paced environments, value teamwork, and are committed to safe, high-quality immunisation practice.
Your responsibilities will include:

Preparing and administering vaccines in accordance with clinical guidelines

Ensuring safe vaccination practices, documentation, and cold-chain compliance

Engaging effectively with students and school staff

Supporting clinic setup, flow management, and post-vaccination monitoring

Maintaining a positive, supportive, and professional team environment
About You
You will be a great fit if you have:

Current Nurse Immuniser Authorisation issued by the Department of Health, Tasmania

Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (RN)

Valid Working with Vulnerable People Registration

Current First Aid/CPR certification

Strong clinical knowledge of immunisation and public health

Excellent communication skills and confidence working with young people

Flexibility to work during school hours throughout the year
