Schools Clean Up Day – Friday 27 Feb 2026
Business Clean Up Day – Tuesday 24 Feb 2026
Council will be notified of registered Clean Ups and will collect the rubbish from your Clean Up site.
Child and Family Learning Centre: 11am Monday 02 March - We are participating in Clean Up Australia Day! Join us for a walk to Shorewell Park Reserve, where we'll do our bit in looking after our country.
West Park Precinct - Community cleanup, Join the teams from UTAS Cradle Coast Campus and Burnie City Council to help keep the West Park coastline, beach, and public walkways clean and waste-free!

Bonus: BBQ lunch provided after the clean-up
Meeting Point: Outside the Campus Cafe at West Park at 10 am to register

Clean-up grants are available through Cradle Coast Waste Management Group
Clean up Australia Day doesn’t have to happen just once a year!
The Cradle Coast Waste Management Group have grants available to pay for clean-up costs like:
Labour and equipment hire
Disposal and recycling costs
Preventative measures
