The Burnie Trotting Club at Wivenhoe has is a hub of harness racing in Tasmania. From October to March, it hosts eight exciting race meetings, with the Burnie Cup in January drawing large crowds for an evening of racing, family entertainment, and community spirit. For more than 70 years, the venue has combined a spacious grandstand with now modern facilities and a warm, welcoming atmosphere, all set against a picturesque coastal backdrop.
