Grants Closing in March

Young Digital Mentor Capacity Builder Grant Round 4 Closes March. For community organisations to run a train-the-trainer program to support and develop (16-21 years old) staff or volunteers as digital mentors in your organisation. Training kit and resources will be provided. 

In a Good Place (IAGP)  16 December 2025 Funding for community-driven projects, services, activities or initiatives that strengthen mental health, social/emotional health

Arts Projects for Individuals and Groups: Closes 3 March.  Up to $50,000 for a range of activities and projects, both national and international, across all art practices.

Arts Projects for Organisations:  Tuesday 3 March 2026. Grants from $20,000–$100,000 for organisations delivering arts programs/projects.

Multicultural Festivals Community Small Grants Program 2025-26 closes 11 March 2026  to support new and emerging culturally and linguistically diverse communities to hold events in Tasmania that celebrate significant cultural traditions and bring people together to celebrate diversity. Eligible applicants can apply for funding of between $500 to $5,000.

Heywire Youth Innovation Grants  close 11 March. FRRR is inviting not-for-profit organisations (NFPs) to collaborate with local young people in remote, rural and regional communities to design and deliver local solutions that respond to the issues that matter most to Australia’s rural youth.

Arts Tasmania - Tasmanian Aboriginal Arts Mentoring Scheme closes 16 March 2026

Arts Tasmania - Young and Emerging Artist Professional Development Program closes 16 March 2026.  This program provides support for young and emerging artists and arts workers to undertake professional and skills development activities.

Tasmanian Men's Sheds Capital Investment Grants Program 2025-26. Closes Thursday 19 March 2026. Fund capital investment for permanent or fixed upgrades. Sheds can apply to upgrade, renovate, construct, outright purchase, or permanently improve the physical locations that house Men’s Sheds across Tasmania.

Tasmanian Men's Sheds Association Grants Program 2025-26 Close Thursday 19 March 2026. The TMSA Grants Program 2025-26 will support:

  • Men’s health and wellbeing, including mental health initiatives
  • The purchase of new tools, equipment or machinery
  • Men's Shed member training and education
  • Initiatives delivered by Men's Sheds that benefit the broader community.

Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Intersex, Queer, Asexual+ (LGBTIQA+) Grants Program. Closes Thurs 19 March 2026. Funding to foster inclusion, respect and dignity for LGBTIQA+ Tasmanians and enhance access to services.

Her Path to Play Program 2025-26 Closes 20 March 2026. support eligible organisations to develop and deliver programs that cater for the needs and interests of all women and girls to increase opportunities to participate, including specific cohorts who may experience additional barriers to participation.

Festivals Australia Fund Round 22. Closes March. Regional artists, arts workers, and organisations can apply for arts and cultural projects that encourage community participation and audience engagement from people living in regional and remote communities in a festival or significant one-off community celebration.

Active Clubs Program 2025-26 – close 24 March 2026.to assist eligible organisations to purchase additional or replace existing equipment to deliver community sport and/or active recreation activities that enhance participation.

Strengthening Rural Communities – Small & Vital  24 March. SRC Small and Vital grants allow NFPs to access funds for a range of initiatives that benefit their communities.

Strengthening Rural Communities – Prepare & Recover   24 March 2026 SRC Prepare & Recover helps NFPs prevent and prepare for future climate-related impacts, or recover from previous disasters.

Social Cohesion Grants Program 2025-26  Close: 26 March 2026. funding to support innovative projects that address racism and foster social cohesion across Tasmanian communities.

Telstra’s Connected Communities Grant Program  26 March 2026 5:00pm.  16 June 2026. Supporting locally-led efforts to embrace technology, improve digital literacy or digital capability, making places more liveable, sustainable

Building Digital Skills Round 16: 2 March to 27 Mar. $3,000 – $20,500 funding to you can run a program to support over 50’s to be connected and get digital skills. A range of resources and support materials are available to help organisations deliver this program.This Be Connected program aims to support older people in Australia so they have the skills needed to participate fully in society.

Minor Facilities Upgrade Program 2025-26.  close 31 March 2026.  Aims to assist eligible organisations to upgrade existing facilities to enable greater use of the facility.

Density Incentive Grant Scheme closes 31 March 2026. is a Tasmanian Government initiative increase the supply and diversity of housing. Grants of $10,000 per dwelling are available to incentivise developers to build medium and high-density housing developments, up to a maximum of 50 dwellings per developer.

National Pies for Local Heroes- monthly grants close on the last day of each month.Any registered Australian community group, sporting club or not-for-profit organisation can apply. We’ll award a grant of $1,000 each month over the next 12 months, beginning in March 2025. We’ll also award a major grant of $10,000 at the end of the program March 2026.Whether you need new boots for your footy club, art supplies for your painting group, a special trip funded, or something else entirely – tell us how we can help!


 

Digital Devices Grant Round 2 grants opening 2 Mar – 3 April. $5,000 funding to loan digital devices to over 50's so they can be connected.Open to organisations participating in the Be Connected program, this grant helps you to create a free device loan library for over 50’s in your community. This is a great way for people who do not have access at home to get loaned a phone, tablet or laptop for up to 6 months.
