Travelling along the Bass Highway (A2) call into the township of Wynyard, visiting the veteran car display at the Wonders of Wynyard, veer off the highway and experience the headland views of Table Cape, before re-joining the Bass Highway.   The beautiful seaside villages of Boat Harbour and Sisters Beach continue the coastal theme. Explore Rocky Cape National Park then head inland to visit the beautiful geological waterfall Dip Falls and walk around the 17 metre circumference of an 260 odd year old eucalypt aptly named “The Big Tree”. On the way back to the highway call into the Blue Hills Honey Farm Experience.

Stanley has stood the test of time as a seafarers village; experience beautifully caught local seafood, stroll along the main street in search of local products.  Dwarfed by “The Nut” a geological phenomenon that extends into the sea, take the short but steep walk or catch the chairlift up to the top for the 45 minute panoramic walk around the top.

Visit the local aquarium, fascinating volunteer run history museum, or the childhood home of Tasmanian Prime Minister Sir Joseph Lyons. Step back in time and explore the picture perfect homestead of the Van Diemans Land Company - Highfield House.

For longer days in head further west and explore the temperate rainforests of the Tarkine, enjoy an eco cruise or take in the Roaring 40’s at “The Edge of the World” at Arthur River.
