Cruise Tourism Workshop

The first cruise arrives into Burnie on the 15th November 2023 to mark the beginning of the 2023-2024 Cruise Season. We have a huge season ahead of us with 41 cruise’s planned to come into the port of Burnie!

The pre-season briefing ensures our industry is up to speed with the scope and logistics of the season as well as introducing the many opportunities to work with this sector to ultimately increase its economic yield.

Participants will be given the opportunity to ask questions and investigate ways to work with this sector. Speakers from WxNW Tourism, Australia Cruise Association, Tourism Tasmania, Burnie City Council and Tasports will be presenting and available to answer your questions.

Morning tea will be provided.
