Council recognises that some members of the community will be unable to access this service due to lack of transport or other genuine reasons. Residents in genuine need are able to register their interest for a collection service provided in partnership with City Mission.

This genuine need collection service is limited in availability and council requests that residents make every effort to arrange a friend, neighbour or family member to assist with disposing of your hard waste prior to requesting this service.

Registration of genuine need for this collection service closed on 13th May 2022 and is limited in number.

Applicants will be assessed against Genuine Needs criteria and the outcome of the application process will be advised as soon as possible following the closure date.
