Fern glade Reserve - Post and Rail fence replacement This project is to undertake the replacement of the existing fencing between the northern and Southern visitors nodes at the fern Glade Reserve. A new post and rail fence will be installed on the river side of the track to prevent falls into the adjacent river and down the steep embankment.
Burnie Gateway Project The State Government funded gateway initiative has been launched to assist Councils along the North West to beautify and improve the visual aesthetic of the entrances to their cities, for the local community and visitors to the area.

Gully Pit Improvement Program 2023-24 The annual Gully Pit improvement program aims to replace 34 stormwater gully pits within the Acton area.
Kerb Outfall Replacement Program 2023/24 This annual program aims to replace/repair 13 damaged stormwater kerb outlets within the Acton area with a further 12 provisionally selected, budget depending.
