The IAPMA (International Association of Hand Papermakers and Paper Artists) Congress will be held in Burnie in 2009. With paper and communication as its underlying basis, the main objective of the Association is to facilitate and encourage an international exchange of ideas and to share information about hand papermaking. IAPMA aims to provide the opportunity and inspiration for members to work together, to share solutions to technical problems, to explore different cultural backgrounds and approaches to papermaking.
