Port of Burnie

The Port of Burnie is Tasmania's largest general cargo port and Australia's largest container port. It is the nearest Tasmanian port to Melbourne. It is fog free and there are no restrictions on night movements. The port is equipped with VHS-R?T, operating in the international maritime bands. Berths range up to 219 metres in length and berth depths are from 10.0 to 11.5 metres.
